In addition to his work at university, KAMIYOSHI Uichi, Associate Professor at Musashino University, is also active as a lecturer on Japanese language education policies and, among others, as an adviser to regional startup programs in Japanese language education. What approach towards multicultural co-existence does a teacher like him apply to his activities?
We followed Professor KAMIYOSHI`s work closely. Whatever the situation, he was always surrounded by smiles and everybody seemed to be eager for new discoveries. While we made our video, we found that a valuable approach towards multicultural co-existence lies in the fact that there are differences between people that reach beyond nationalities, and yet the same people laugh together and live together. This documentary shows Professor KAMIYOSHI “building” a place for “discovery” to the possibilities of diversity.
